Central defender Gerard Nash has been told he will not be offered a new deal when his contract expires at the end of the season. Nash, who made one senior appearance for Town as a sub against Burnley two seasons ago, has been beset by almost constant injury problems during his time with the Blues.

Town's reserves side fell to their first defeat of the season as Arsenal came away from Portman Road with a 4-2 victory. Dean Bowditch scored twice for Town, but a hat-trick from Arturo Lupoli and one from Nicklas Bendtner secured the win for the Gunners.
